On December 1, the 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum opened in Tengchong Science Hall, with the purpose of "Science and Technology Leading the Future" and the theme of "Science and Green Development".

During the 2023 Tengchong Scientist Forum, more than 1,000 scientists, academicians, and guests from all over the world visited Heshun Ancient Town to immerse themselves in the exotic customs of this overseas Chinese hometown on the Silk Road. At the same time, from December 1st to 4th, a theme activity called "Golden Heshun Silk Road Style" was staged in Heshun Ancient Town, a Silk Road hometown full of historical and cultural heritage.
