On November 3, 2024 (this Sunday), the 2024 Colorful Yunnan Gryffindor Cycling Festival Tengchong Station race will be held. According to the competition schedule, the short distance group (50KM) will pass through the Heshun Ancient Town scenic area. To ensure the smooth holding of the event and create a safe, orderly, and smooth road traffic environment, the Heshun Ancient Town Scenic Area kindly reminds you as follows.

Traffic control periods and road sections

11: From 10 to 13:40, temporary traffic control will be implemented along the following road sections.

Section involving Heshun: intersection of the vehicle management office of Rui Line (Tengliang Road) in the town of G556 National Highway → intersection of Rui Line (Tengliang Road) in the town of G556 National Highway and Heshun Maize Shop (Jumin Farm) → Heshun Zhuang Bridge → Heshun Ancient Town Tourist Service Center → World Tengchong World Heshun · Zhaobi → Heshun and memorial archway → Heshun Shuanghong Bridge → entering the main tourist road of the ancient town → Cunjiawan Platform → Baisui Square → Grand Platform → Laundry Booth → Siqi Road → Siqi Posthouse (Bajiaoxi Zhaizimen) → Aisiqi Cemetery → Shuiqingtou No.1 Scenic Spot Service Point → Shuiyuantou Crossing → Shuiyuantou Turn to 116 Township Road at the intersection and go to Rehai Road in the urban area.

Regulatory content and requirements

（1） During the traffic control period, it is strictly prohibited for any vehicles (including cars, motorcycles, electric vehicles, bicycles, tractors, animal drawn carts, etc.), personnel, or livestock other than racing work vehicles and personnel to enter the controlled roads.

（2） During the traffic control period, it is strictly prohibited for any unit or individual to occupy the controlled road and engage in any activities unrelated to the event.

（3） The traffic control methods shall be based on on-site staff command and warning signs, detour warning signs, cones, warning tapes (colored tapes), etc.

Detour reminder

（1） Due to the needs of the competition, temporary traffic control roads and time periods will have an impact on the travel of people and vehicles along the way. Some sections and nodes are expected to cause traffic congestion. Please make travel arrangements in advance, avoid traffic control sections and time periods, choose detours as needed or wait for the end of control to pass in sequence, and obey the instructions of on-site staff. Strictly follow road traffic safety laws and regulations for passage.

（2） Due to the needs of the competition, temporary traffic control roads and time periods will prohibit the passage of large trucks. During the traffic control period, drivers of large trucks are requested to make travel arrangements in advance, avoid traffic control sections and time periods, choose reasonable detours as needed or wait for the end of the control to pass in sequence, and obey the instructions of on-site staff, strictly following road traffic safety laws and regulations.

（3） Vehicles and personnel who need to cross the track during traffic control will be granted clearance by on-site staff depending on the situation. The public security traffic management department and on-site staff will take timely measures such as diversion, restriction of passage, and prohibition of passage based on the progress of the event and the actual situation of traffic management.

Tips

During the event, traffic control will be implemented on the affected road sections. Residents, merchants, and tourists are requested to understand and support the situation, familiarize themselves with the track area and event time in advance, and arrange their travel routes and times reasonably. Please firmly establish the concept of "everyone is a tourism image, everywhere is a tourism environment" among residents and business friends, start from oneself, implement the three guarantees in front of the door, operate without occupying the road, and do not hang clothes or pile up debris in public areas such as roads and platforms.  

In the near future, the Heshun Ancient Town Scenic Area will also welcome events such as the 2024 Tengchong Marathon. The Heshun Ancient Town Scenic Area will release (forward) relevant notices in a timely manner according to the work arrangements of the organizing committees of each event, and urge residents, merchants, and tourists to actively support and widely promote them.
